HOW TO GET STARTED

Unlike our competitors (who are national companies, where we are a regional company founded and operated from Central Kentucky), we are interested in actually solving their gutter problems with our patented self cleaning gutter system.

  1. SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT: When a homeowner requests an estimate we will schedule a time to walk the house and learn the problems they are having.
  2. DEVELOP ESTIMATE: We will ask that the homeowner have a look at a sample of the Ever Clean Gutter System brought out with the estimator so they can learn the options and deliberate design features which distinguish Ever Clean Gutter System from our competitors.
  3. MEASURE & COLORS: We will collect all the measurements, establish pricing and color, and provide the written estimate during the appointment, which may take an hour at most.
  4. NEVER HIGH PRESSURE: This is not a high pressure sales appointment and the written estimate will be left with the homeowner should they choose to postpone their decision.

How we Serve the Apex NC area

Residents of Apex, North Carolina face a combination of dense tree coverage, heavy seasonal rainfall, and humid conditions that make gutter guards a smart and protective home investment. While Apex is a beautiful and rapidly growing area, its natural environment creates ongoing challenges for homeowners trying to keep gutters clean and functional.

HEAVY LEAF AND PINE NEEDLE DROP

Apex is filled with mature hardwoods and pine trees, especially in neighborhoods like Haddon Hall, Abbington, Salem Village, and more rural areas. During fall, leaves and pine needles accumulate quickly in gutters, often forming clogs in a matter of days—especially after storms or windy days.

Common local trees:

  • Oak

  • Maple

  • Sweetgum

  • Loblolly pine (drops LOTS of long needles)

Pine needles may look harmless—but over time, they can wreak havoc on your gutters and your home. If you live in an area with pine trees, like many neighborhoods in the Southeast, Appalachians, or Pacific Northwest, understanding how pine needles affect your gutters is key to preventing costly damage.

Since Pine Needles are long, thin and flexible, they slip through traditional Gutter Screens and they often slip right through standard gutter guards with larger holes.  Once inside, they tangle with each other and form dense clogs that trap water.

Ever Clean provides the solution to not just leaves, pine needles and debris but effectively collects and diverts rain water away from your house.  No other National Brand or Big Box Store sells gutters than can do that!

FREQUENT RAIN AND STORMS

Apex gets around 47 inches of rain annually—above the U.S. average, and spring and summer bring strong thunderstorms, not to mention  hurricanes or tropical systems from the coast that can bring sudden, heavy rainfall.

Clogged gutters during these storms mean water:

  • Overflows down siding

  • Damages windows, trim, and doors

  • Pools at the base of the home, threatening the foundation or crawl space

MOSQUITOES, PESTS AND MOLD

Clogged gutters hold stagnant water, especially in Apex’s humid climate, which attracts mosquitoes, ants, birds, and even rodents. Decomposing leaves also create mold and mildew problems, especially near rooflines.  Gutters, when clogged with leaves, twigs, and other debris, prevent proper water drainage. This creates stagnant water, which is precisely what female mosquitoes need to lay their eggs.

Ever Clean Clog-Free Gutters block pests and eliminate stagnant water.

MILD WINTERS BUT ICE STILL HAPPENS

Apex, North Carolina experiences mild winters compared to northern states, but the season still brings some important weather characteristics that homeowners should prepare for—especially when it comes to protecting gutters, roofs, and home exteriors.

Apex winters are generally mild, but overnight freezes are common; so clogged gutters can lead to ice buildup, causing: Gutter damage, Icicles and slippery walkways, and Ice dams that push water under roofing.

  •  Average highs (Dec–Feb): 50–55°F
  • Average lows: 30–35°F

  • Occasional cold snaps can drop temps below freezing, sometimes into the low 20s°F

  • Frost is common during late fall and winter mornings

  • Snow is rare but possible, usually light and short-lived (1-3 inches occasionally)
